Boshi Botanicals Adds Bath and Beauty Products to Bulk Refill Selection

Ribbon-cutting ceremony for Memphis’ zero-waste pioneer set for February 29th

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (February 8, 2024) – Memphis's first zero-waste refill store, Boshi Botanicals, is expanding. Since opening a brick-and-mortar shop in Chickasaw Oaks in late 2023, Boshi Botanicals has added new herbal soaps, guided workshops, and a bulk beauty product selection that increases options for Memphians seeking to cut out plastic bottles and single-use containers.

In addition to the zero-waste products Boshi Botanicals launched with, like bulk laundry soap, beeswax wraps, and solid dish soap, the store now offers several beauty and body product refills, including: Boshi Botanicals Bath Salts, Little Seed Farm deodorant, Yaya Maria’s hand soap, All Good Body Care Mineral Sunscreen, Mountain Rose Herbs Henna Hair Dye, and more. Customers can bring in their own bottle or purchase one in the store to fill with as much product as they want.

Based on customer requests, Boshi Botanicals has also added neem and turmeric herbal soaps. These new artisan-crafted recipes focus on bringing out the natural benefits of those plants.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for February 29, 2024 at 2 p.m. CST, with a grand opening party to follow. The local community is invited to join the celebration, which will include product samples, a mini workshop, and a chance to check out Boshi Botanicals full in-store selection.

For those who want to take a more hands-on approach, Boshi Botanicals now offers workshops where participants can create their own bath bombs and salts using natural and organic ingredients. These classes are also a great way to learn about therapeutic benefits of the salts, essential oils, clays and herbs available. Customers can also shop from Boshi Botanicals’ curated selection of gifts, teas and artwork from other local, sustainable, women-owned businesses.

Whether created by Becky or one of her eco-friendly partners, the products sold at Boshi Botanicals aren’t just sustainable and low-waste, they are also free from sulfates, phthalates, parabens and other tricky ingredients. Becky holds all of her companies to a high standard of being good for people and good for the planet.
