Camellia's NovelTEA was founded by Sumi Worley, who grew up drinking tea in Japan and found she missed that culture when she moved to Memphis. Sumi works directly with farmers in Japan to source all of her high-quality teas. We are proud to offer three of her amazing organic teas. 

Organic Hojicha: Hojicha is a traditional style roasted Japanese green tea. It is made from a blend of tea stems harvested throughout the year and has a rich, body-warming roasted aroma and flavor.　The high-temperature roasting process reduces the caffeine content, making it a well-loved choice for everyone.

Organic Sencha: This Sencha from Shizuoka, Japan, one of the largest and most famous tea-producing regions, is crafted with a medium-steaming process that preserves the needle-like shape of the leaves to provide a full-bodied, nuanced taste. You'll enjoy the refreshing taste and remarkable vegetal aroma as you indulge in a cup of this Japanese green tea harvested from spring and early summer leaves.

Organic Matcha Genmaicha: Enjoy a unique combination of roasted rice, sencha green tea leaves, and matcha with Matcha Genmaicha. This Japanese green tea blend offers a nutty, toasty cup with a hint of grassiness and creamy umami. Our Matcha Genmaicha is the perfect way to enjoy a cup of green tea any time of day. This unique matcha and toasted rice blend has half the leaves and half the caffeine of regular Sencha tea and it is Boshi Botanical's owner Becky's favorite!

Ceremonial Matcha: Ceremonial matcha is made from young tea leaves that have a smooth natural sweetness due to higher concentrations of L-theanine. It also much higher in chlorophyll, giving it a beautiful green hue.
