Memphis's first zero-waste refill store, Boshi Botanicals, is expanding. Since opening a brick-and-mortar shop in Chickasaw Oaks in late 2023, Boshi Botanicals has added new herbal soaps, guided workshops, and a bulk beauty product selection that increases options for Memphians seeking to cut out plastic bottles and single-use containers.

Boshi Botanicals, a Memphis-based business offering natural, artisan soaps and bath products, has opened its first retail space at 3092 Poplar Ave., Suite 16, inside the Chickasaw Oaks shopping mall. The store features natural soap and body products from Boshi Botanicals, as well as a zero-waste refill station and handcrafted goods from Memphis-area artists. 

What’s happening: Budding entrepreneur Becky Beloin is preparing to make the leap from selling her products at area arts and crafts markets to opening her own storefront in Memphis.
